Travel to Stockholm & Uppsala
By plane: Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international hub, approximately 40 minutes from central Stockholm by Arlanda Express train. Uppsala is a 17-minute train ride from Stockholm Central Station.
By train: Stockholm Central Station is well-connected by high-speed rail across Sweden and from Copenhagen (via Malmö). SJ trains connect Stockholm and Uppsala every 15–30 minutes.
Stockholm local transport: KTH is served by the T-bana (metro) — Tekniska högskolan station on the Red Line. A 24-hour SL travel card is recommended.
Uppsala local transport: Uppsala Central Station is a 10-minute walk from the main university campus.
Where to Stay
We recommend booking accommodation in Stockholm for both nights, as Uppsala is easily reached by direct train in 17 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. Accommodation near KTH or in central Stockholm is ideal.
